Sociology is a wonderful subject, I hope you do agree, and sometimes it can be hard to understand things being taught. As a student who is nearing closer to her last Sociology exam (as I already done my mock, and with the help of this book I got a B) I need all the help I can get. Our teacher recommended this book because- like she said- it will help us a lot. So I brought it to help me with the last 2 exams. And it is actually helpful.
However, it can be quite confusing because the layout is not as clear as I hoped it would be. And there's too much writing, but I guess that is a good thing because then you have a lot more information. It explains the theorys, like the Marxists theory, very well giving examples. I also enjoy the exercises they give, it is a good way to remind me what I just done. I am confident about my exam because of the help this book gave me. I hope I get an A* :D.
