If you are aiming for levels 6-7 in english, then this is perfect! I recommend it to all KS3 students because it improves your level and english writing skills. This book has helped me get the highest grades in English. It is definitely worth it because it includes practise papers, a workbook AND a revision guide. There are three main sections: reading, writing, and shakespeare.

I purchased most of this range of revision guides for my son to supplement his school notes. All of the books in this series are fantastic, well laid out, interesting with up to date content. I Recommend these books.

I got this book for my son to prop up his English grade. It has helped him a lot. The reason for giving 4 stars is that it has poor binding. It is two months since I bought the book and the pages started coming off. I would still highly recommend the book but get a slide binder of at least 15mm to firm up the binding of the book. I have used an 18mm slide binder that I already had and it holds the pages quite well plus my son can see all the text in the book with the slide binder on.
