(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Collins Puppy Handbook (Paperback)
As someone who is just about to own a puppy (A golden retriever if you are interested) then this book, read purely by chance, became to be the most essential and helpful.

Author Gwen Bailey must have a lot of experience in raising dogs - the insights, facts and tips were indipensable.

It covered everything from which puppy is right for you, how different breeds react, what puppies like and dislike, and crucially, how to train them.

How to train them was the most helpful part of the book - telling you how to make them sit, lie down, stay and come. Replete with the commands you should give and how.

It is written in a chatty, informative style that is easy to read and understand. Young children, too, should be able to easily get to grips with this book.

Filled with plenty of pictures of puppies of all breeds that make you want to get even more dogs, this book has been a mighty help - thank you Gwen!
