Was expecting more from this book. Too many of the tired old quiz questions we've seen so many times before and some poor editing - several Qs are repeated. Virtually no interesting or innovative Qs; very few that really stand out.
Layout is not good either: the answers should be near the Qs rather than at the back of the book, where they are more awkward to access.
Not enough thought has been put into the categories. Too many Mixed Bag ones, which could have been put elsewhere. Not enough Qs on popular categories like History and Sport.
It's not bad value for the money but it could have been much better.

The pub quiz book has been a boon to me in setting questions for a quiz night and I am sure they will prove popular.

Great starter book for a pub quiz, catorgories were great and format easy to follow. Jolly Drayman pub quiz was a huge success due to the book.

I purchased this book along with another for my son for Christmas. He is into trivia and had spent a decent amount of time in London studying and visiting pubs. He found the questions entertaining and challenging and said he'd recommend it to his friends (i.e., other students studying abroad).
