Buy this guide 29 Jun 2010
Format:Spiral-bound|Amazon Verified Purchase
If you intend to buy a guide to the Norfolk Broads this is THE one to buy.

The book is well laid out tourist information in the first half, with the second half taken up with maps and very importantly a simple but effective system showing, moorings, water points and other vital information.

I bought two other guide books and an OS Map before visiting the area, but this guide was in constant use. The ease of use and the wire bound format with a flap containing a key etc, which also helps to keep the relevant pages to hand makes it a well thought out and very informative reference.

A deserved 5 stars!

Handy Book 8 Sep 2010

Format:Spiral-bound
We found this book very useful, we have been on the Broads before. Ideal for people who have not been on a boating holiday, gives lots of advice on what and what not to do on boating in general.

Useful for all sorts of information, places to go, hire shops, activities etc. It does contain maps but they are not as detailed or as easy to use as the O/S map of the Broads which I also purchased for my holiday, I'd recommend both for a complete guide, but if you only get one, get the O/S Map, if you don't know the area its much more helpful.

Not the best for boaters
I find this disappointing. It contains a lot of general tourist information, but is not really much good for those hiring boats. There are many errors and deficiencies. Read more
