This book is for stupid people with no common sense. If you don't know how to change a fuse in a plug, tune in your TV or defrost a freezer, then this book will tell you how. If you want to know how to diagnose and repair household appliances, then buy another book. Doesn't deserve to be on the same bookshelf as the excellent Collins Complete DIY manual (strangely co-written by the same author).

This book saved me a fortune over one weekend. Put up some lights and installed an arial. Forget �50 call out fees for ever. This book is essential in every home.
