Fantastic 30 Jun 2007
By sas
Format:Hardcover
This book is absolutely a must for any bird lover. It is very easy to use, and the illustrations are gorgeous. It is also much smaller and more portable than I had thought it would be. We are very excited about the non-passerines edition to come later this year. Highly recommended.

Disappointed 24 Feb 2012
By Chann
Format:Hardcover
Not enough indepth description for identification in the field. Plates very limited and not detailed enough. Covers the birds I wanted to review but not in enough specific detail.

Very good book 12 April 2011
Format:Hardcover
This Collins field guide is suitable for amateur as well as the professional birdwatcher. Its easy layout and brief but informative text on all species. Also has good pictures/plates and distribution maps for most species. Only one critisizm is I wish it had population estimates of most of the species.
