Format:Audio CD
I bought this as a reminder of the basic french I know hoping that I would learn some more as well and the aim was to listen to it whilst driving. I find it is narrated very well, and I like the way, it is presented. There is plenty of prompts to check knowledge and at the end of the CD, there is a revision part, where if you are not sure of some of the words it tells you which track to go back to. This is the best one I have bought over the years. They even try and inject some humour into it! Like all language courses, some of the questions or words seem to me, pointless, like asking where a lift is, but then that is a personal view, and others might not mind that. Four stars for me, after doing one disc, and I may come back and update the review as I work my way through it

I would recommend these cd's. I enjoyed listening to them and found a lot of it did stick.I found the tips for remembering useful and it covered situations I could imagine being in in France. However at the end I wouldn't say I had done more than scratch the surface of the French language. I don't see how it can be "complete"

A good progressive learning CD
Starts off very basic and you think it's made for 5 year olds. However, it soon progresses and I was soon learning useful phrases in the comfort of my car. Read more
