5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal for pedants! 30 Aug 2013

This is a great dictionary as it can be referred to when settling arguments about correct usage/spelling, etc. Not only does it cover all those niggly words that you're never quite sure about, it can be interesting to just dip into it and learn something you never knew you needed to know! Also, as a bonus, there is a comprehensive section about proof marks so for anyone getting involved with this side of things, or lucky enough to blag a proof copy of a book, you'll know what it all means. Excellent value book in very good condition.

The delivery is prompt, the condition of the book is pretty good though. However, the contents are very disappointing. If you want to build up your vocabulary power, this is definitely not the book for you.

A great companion for writers/authors. It will be an invaluable gift item for somebody who loves to write or is aspiring to be an author
