4.0 out of 5 stars Sweaterstone is better but this is great for travel 27 Mar 2011
By Stacia R. Roesler - Published on Amazon.com
I own this (which I keep in my overnight kit and use for travel) as well as the sweaterstone, which I prefer and use at home. The D-Fuzz-It works just fine but it takes a while and you have to be sort of ginger with the fabric---but, it's small and sturdy and travels easily. I find it easiest to use by laying the sweater out on a bed. The sweaterstone is larger (and would probably be pulverized in a suitcase) but it's a LOT (a whole lot!) faster to use, and it gives a much nicer, fluffier appearance to sweaters. I usually use the sweaterstone with the sweater ON me, which makes it much easier to get under the arms. The only small drawback to sweaterstone is you should use it outdoors or over a sink because it does make a bit of a mess.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well 29 May 2010

This works very well! It really takes off the excessive and balled up fabric, especially cotton. Beware, it will thin out your thin cotton clothing, if done excessively.

I had one of these years ago and lost it. So glad to see it again on amazon. It really helps defuzz sweaters. Takes a bit of patience but makes them look nice and new again. I'm a fan.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth it 16 July 2012
By C. Czapla - Published on Amazon.com
Everyone hates fuzz balls on their sweaters/clothes. This product is not very good at removing those fuzzballs. It rakes the clothing and leaves a lot of loose fibers after raking, leaving starters for new fuzzballs.

4.0 out of 5 stars if you have sweaters you need this 1 Jan 2012

The D-Fuzz-It Sweater Comb Collins works on pilling where shavers and lint brushes don't. A must have item if you have clothes, especially sweaters.
