Collector's Originality Guide Porsche 911
While this book is everything one would expect from the title, what should be made clear at the outset is that is a word-for-word reprint of the book "Original Porsche 911" by Peter Morgan originally published in 1995. As far as I can tell, the only things that have changed in this newer edition are the organization of the Table of Contents into chapters, somewhat improved reproduction of the photographs and an easier-to-read font used to caption those photographs.
In other words, if you already own the earlier version it's really not worth the $29 to purchase the reprint.
While this book is everything one would expect from the title, what should be made clear at the outset is that is a word-for-word reprint of the book "Original Porsche 911" by Peter Morgan originally published in 1995. I was a first time 911 buyer when I bought this book.
I read it with extreme interest and mounting excitement as I learned to decipher the myriad Porsche 911 models
and the changes during each model run.
I went on to purchase my first 911 with this book tucked under my arm.
Highly recommended to anyone interested in 911's.
