Educated at various schools in Ripley and Guildford, she left formal education at fifteen to go into catering. She is the mother of two grown-up sons, and has six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Although the cover isn't that exciting, the recipes inside are just brilliant. My son suffers anaphylaxia with eggs and getting a decent recipe for a cake that isn't rubbery or taste vile is really hard. Great range of recipes.

The chocolate cake recipe in here was delicious, my fussy Dad didn't even know it was a 'allergy free' cake! Top marks

NB Milk is used in some of the recipes, we just used Oat milk instead.

This book caters for egg, milk (if you follow above advice) and soya free cooking.

Highly recommended.

This is a really good starter book for anyone who cannot or does not wish to eat eggs. The recipes are quite simple and the book would make a great gift for someone too. You can make this book as Vegan or not as you like.
