As a collection album, you'd think that it shoulb be bought by people who want to get to know the music of the Shamen. You're right. It's a beautiful introduction to the music of a great group. But if you already have Boss Drum, and Axis Mutatis.. why bother, you ask. Well, here's why. The album does not contain a single album-version of anything. 16 remixed tracks, from the early Omega Omigo to Indica (from Hempton Manor). The sound is the Shamen sound, but the excellent versions of tracks that are excellent to begin with.. worth your time and cash obtaining this. My favourite is track 8, The Beatmaster's Heavenly Edit to "Phorever People" (out of Boss Drum, but you already have that one..) - it's a shame the Shamen decided to dissapear in the Internet, though. Makes you wonder.
