Essential... at a low price,

The packaging is a bit iffy and the opera is far from essential but if you're just getting into Waters the shear value represented by this box set - which contains all of his non-compilation albums, plus an excellent live DVD, is unquestionable. There's a good argument to be made that Waters' first solo album is a more authentic follow on to the last couple of Floyd albums than the official Floyd ones were. Nothing else in this box quite matches Pros & Cons but there are good, and sometimes great, songs throughout. A purchase I'm very happy with, as someone who only owned one Waters CD before buying this.

Its a bit tacky,

Found this box set pretty disappointing! None of the albums come with any booklets containing the lyrics or pictures, and given that Roger is such a fantastic lyricist it would be nice to see them! The cd sleeves seem poorly finished, If you have any of these albums already i would strongly advise you against buying this box set! Albums you haven't got just buy on amazon/marketplace! Don't get me wrong its not a bad value boxset, but if your like me I would have preferred to have paid out a little bit more and had a better quality one which included more information i.e booklets containing lyrics and the proper cases!

This box is a follow up of what roger waters accomplished with pink floyd. anyone who liked "The wall" and "a final cut" of pink floyd will love this box.
