Synopsis

Builds on the author's previous book, "Charlotte Rhead: Potter and Designer", published in 1987. It offers fresh information about the work of Charlotte and Frederick Rhead during the first part of the century. For example, the Richardson pattern books from the 30s have become available.

This review is from: Collecting Rhead Pottery (Paperback)
This is Bernards second book on colecting Rhead pottery. And is the most informative book in documenting The Rhead family influence in the Staffordshire potteries. This book documents Charlottes work and includes helpful and informative patterns numbers and descriptions, for each of the ceramic companies she designed for. Full colour photographs show many pieces of her work and include helpful valuations and hints and tips for collectors.
All in all a very impressive and must have for all Rhead Fans
