Book Description

15 May 2008
This volume brings back into print the complete poems of Veronica Forrest-Thomson (1947-1975), whose work remains a touchstone for those interested in radical British poetry in the 1970s. The book contains all of her published collections, plus poems that remained in manuscript, and also contains work that has come to light since the publication of the Collected Poems and Translations (1990) as well as a number of corrections to that edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential reading 9 Dec 2009
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
A neat and tremendously useful collexion of the poems of one of the twentieth century's most important (and most overlooked) experimental poets. This edition is based on the definitive Collected Poems and Translations, but it's not just a reading copy; it also contains VFT's all-important prose statements about the nature of her work. No poetry bookshelf is complete without it.
