Hello burt-furtle & compliments of the season. The length of the casings which I bought are capable making roughly 25Lbs of sausage. I have never actually measured the length of an unfolded sausage casing. I found the collagen much easier to use and did not come across any of the problems of linking as mentioned by some sausage maker. I hope this answers your query! They are described as being made from collagen which is a protein found in animals, so not vegan I'm afraid.

Hello Christopher, Yes, you can store them is a fridge (open or unopened) I do. I find them far easier to work with rather than natural casing which have a very short "shelf life". Regards Clare.
