An all in one guide to collaborative research projects. It covers what to think about before you start one, the business case, advice on a wide range of issues in relation to the rules and legal issues, together with the practicalities of planning the project (with some great tips for people who have not worked in an academic / industrialist combination before). This book is clearly written, from practical experience and I particularly liked the fact that it also contains advice on keeping the project on track and what to do if things go wrong. I found that there was a lot of information in this book and therefore I would think it is suitable for a range of readers from someone interested in starting a project right through to those who work with them. Given the amount of information conveyed, the style the book is light and energetic which made it a very easy read.
