Colin doesn't have a home. He doesn't even have a bed, which is A-OK most of the time but not when he is tired and grouchy and in need of a long catnap. When Colin spies a cardboard box, he thinks it looks perfect for snoozing in, so imagine his surprise when he is parcelled up and mailed around the world and beyond . . . but no one wants him. About the Author
Leigh Hodgkinson is an award winning animator, and was the creative director of the first Charlie and Lola animation series. Leigh wrote and illustrated her debut picture book Colin and the Snoozebox for Orchard, which has received huge critical acclaim, and was swiftly followed by Colin and Wrong Shadow, and Smile! starring her new character Sunny McCloud. Don't Dip Your Chips in Your Drink, Kate is Leigh's first collaboration with an author. Leigh lives on a hill in London with her husband.

My nieces (ages 4 and 7) enjoyed this book, and the different fonts and busy illustrations give adults something to enjoy too. But it's worth pointing out that this is the same book as "Boris and the Snoozebox".

An endearing, but simple story about a loveable cat that appeals to all ages. The beautiful illustrations, full of depth and texture, kept my children looking for a long time after the story had finished. A future classic. Looking forward to Colin's next adventure!
