Product Description

Review

In an increasingly dark and depressing world, the design duo don't half brighten up proceedings with their refreshing enthusiasm (CLOSER )

Brilliant news for decorators everywhere - design duo Colin and Justin have penned a fabulous house-saving guide to help you right all those interior wrongs. In this camp and colourful book, the boys make it their mission to rid Britain's homes of all de (HOT STARS )

The book follows a "before and after" formula taking readers round the horrendous hallways, sitting rooms and bedrooms before Colin and Justin redesign them in the height of good taste (SCOTSMAN )

As a course of aversion therapy, this book certainly succeeds . . . sound advice, clearly presented. Each chapter contains a list of no-nos and some "points to remember". A helpful index of resources is a sobering reminder that these boys mean business (GLASGOW HERALD )

SUNDAY BUSINESS POST

Why no one else has done a book like this one is beyond me Its funny, wicked, naughty, silly and downright inspirational all at the same time I like the way the designers illustrate all the horrid taste homes with brillinat images of how it was when they arrived and how changed it all was when theyd finished their work Just saw them on Jonothon Ross and they were smashing Someone else said they were like Kim and Aggy with paintcharts!! Brilliantly observed!! A great extra Chrissie pressie for my bad taste buddies xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks to the designers for thsi unique book. Its restored my faith in Design and DIY! They make it really interesting and explain it all in commeon sense way. As a teacher I know that the best way to learn is when you're smiling and I laughed and smiled cover to cover. I have a load of friends who are getting this lively book from me for Xmas. That'll taech them to have messy homes!

HOW NOT TO DECORATE 31 Oct 2005
Actually a very good read although there are some very odd pictures of the designers in their pants in the book. Useful info and well designed homes though. Very funny book which makes a change from other design books Ive read. Love all the advice and the fact that its presented in such a stylish and in your face manner. Good work.
