Bought the single one for my daughter at the beginning of the year and was so impressed that I've been watching out for the double to come on sale to replace our perfectly good inflatable bed and recently bought this one for us.
Love that after loading and unloading/putting up tent etc that I don't still have to pump up an airbed. Very comfortable. Good size and slightly deeper than our previous one. It is a quite thick plasticised base and sides with a flocked top. D batteries have lasted in my daughters' one for many inflations this year both camping and for sleepovers, and she loves to hang out in the tent with her ipod plugged in and listen to music with her friends. Out of interest, this also has an overide feature should you run out of batteries, although I've never used it yet. Downside is this is slightly bulkier and heavier than a normal one, but then you don't have to carry a pump, so that isn't really a problem. It also comes with it's own bag (much like a sleeping bag one) that is roomy enough to not be a problem when trying to get it back in. Last comment if you haven't slept on an airbed before; I much prefer the flatter sleeping surface without a built in pillow and beds with long lilo-style inflated bits are pretty uncomfortable and less stable than those like this with the 'air-pockets' (if that makes any sense!).
