    5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't Ask For More... 18 Jun 2010
Tried a few tents before deciding on this one, and I couldn't be happier.

The first time I erected this tent it was incredibly easy to and took less then 5 mins to have it standing and sturdy, then it was just a matter of pegging it out. This was by myself I hasten to add and I'm no expert. Next time round I'm looking for a sub 5 min time ;)

The tent came with the inner lining already attached, so after 10mins it was up, pegged out, waterproof and ready to go. Needless to say this can be taking out along with the ground sheet to help with cleaning or lightening the load. All the small details really made this tent stand out from the others I'd tried...like the oversized bag with compression straps (taking the tent down and packing it up was a piece of cake too), the square pegs that are almost impossible to bend, colour coded poles that only need securing at one end, the fluorescent guy-ropes etc.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone who needs a decent backpacking tent that also has a decent amount of room. There are lighter tents (this is 4kg max, weighed on the scales at work), but this is a nice bridge between complete backpacking tents, and something that you could happily camp in for a week or so. The large porch gives plenty of room for cooking if the elements aren't on your side...and I was able to easily keep my boots and two 70l bags in there without touching the sides.

Not much more to say really other than happy camping!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Festival Tent 13 July 2010
It took me ages to track a tent down with multiple entrancies (airflow for hot weather) a large porch area for raniy days and lightweight/easy to erect/take down.

Took it for its first outing to Glastonbury 2010 and was great. The three seperate openings (back, front & side) allows air to flow through the tent which helped no end in the the hot weather. Proved very simple to put up and take down/pack away and lightweight. Zips proved good as previous tents have snagged on the first outing. The good size porch area allows 2 people to sit comfortably in case of rain.

    Definately recommended for festivals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Coleman Pictor X3 tent review 5 Sep 2010
    By Jacko
I bought this tent for a one week motorcycling camping trip to the Pyrenees, my 4 mates were well impressed with the layout which was the main reason I bought this particular model. it is a quality piece of kit with plenty of ventilation, ideal for 2 people though 3 may be a bit of a squeeze. It did not rain so I cannot comment on its waterproofness. Ideal for my motorbike trip and fits perfectly in my 25litre rucksack, at 3 and a half kilos it is probably a bit heavy for hiking.
Perfect for my needs and of high quality, cant wait to use it again, I was a camping virgin before this trip and the tent has helped me get hooked on camping.
5 star accomodation reasonably quick to erect 10 to 15 mins

5.0 out of 5 stars Best tent
Have several tents for different purposes. I love this one, up in minutes, down in minutes. Perfect for 2 people on the move. 3 would fit easily if you top to tail.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value for money
This is a very roomy tent for a fair price. I think however that its too heavy to be a trekking tent for hikers. But for bicycle enthusiasts its great value for money.
