Product Description

Coleman Hawkins 6 Combo Tent with Porch has a spacious 9.1m² sleeping area, a full length rainfly for enhanced protection and a large porch to shelter from the rain, making it a quality option for large families and festival groups. All of the fibreglass poles and steel stakes required to set up the Coleman 6 man tent are included in storage bags, alongside a set of easy-to-follow instructions. The main body of the six man tent is made from breathable polyester to minimise condensation and is held in place by super strong shock-corded fibreglass poles. Once set up, the 6 person tent has an impressive 195cm of headroom to easily move around. One of the finest aspects of the 6 man tent’s interior, which has a waterproof PE groundsheet to keep floor space dry, is that it has a separate living room and two sleeping quarters, comfortably housing three people each. The large family tent’s living area is accessible through a secure entry space and has a volume of approximately 6.2m², making it ideal for storing cookware, backpacks and other camping essentials. With the addition of the large tent’s long porch shelter, you can also store certain camping kit outside and keep it substantially dry. Much like the interior of the Coleman tent, the porch is propped up by flexible shock-corded fibreglass poles. The rainfly included with the 6 man family tent is made from PU coated 2000mm polyester with vents and tough taped seams, enhancing rain protection and ensuring your trip doesn’t end on a damp squib. Just got back from 4 nights away camping 2 adults and 2 children. We loved the coleman hawkins 6 tent. First time we've had a tunnel style tent. The outer skin went up really quickly with the fibreglass poles. 10 minutes to set up the outside. Thankfully because then the heavens opened and we had 48 hrs of heavy rain. The inner large 2+2 pod could now be easily attached within the dry of the outer tent and thanks to the built in ground sheet we remained dry and draft free. We didn't use the smaller pod for the other 2 which as another reviewer stated fits across the front of the tent blocking access to the porch but I can see maybe we would in better weather or for one of the children when they are older but it is a triangular shape with a sloping roof so not much good for sitting in.
We kept the side doors closed on the tent and the front door open and sat in the porch in the rain fairly snug with extra shelter from a windbreak around the sides to do the cooking. The large living area was welcome and plenty tall enough to walk about in and one of our party is over 6 foot and big enough for the 4 of us to sit in with chairs. When the sun returned it was great to then open both side doors. The bedrooms are of equal size at the back of the tent with enough room for a double air bed in each but not bags too although there was plenty of space in the living area and 2 small storage pockets in each bedroom. Side panels around the porch would have made it perfect but especially for the price we were impressed by this tent with as many features as others often 2 or 3 times the price. I guess it's a bargain because it's a discontinued range that Coleman stopped producing in favour of the 'coastline' so get it while you can. Happy camping.

Haven't used yet, but erected in the garden prior to going away.....firstly, dimensions, as these are severely lacking on ANY website for the tent....it's 6 metres long, without the canopy, and 2.5 m wide.
Also, it doesn't have 'two sleeping compartments sleeping three in each comfortably'.... It as a double (unzip able) compartment which would sleep 2+2 and another compartment, which goes across the whole 'front' of the tent for another 2....disappointingly this mans you can't use the main door into the space under the canopy if you've got this room up....
Will edit this after our trip as too late to make changes.....put it up on my own (but no inclement weather of any sort!) and seems ok, just a shame layout not as advertised anywhere :-(

Tent was bigger than we thought and the canopy is great for cooking and eating under.
Love the bigger bedroom at the back, wasn't too keen on the smaller bedroom at the canopy side of the tent, didn't seem to fit in the tent very well, draped quite a bit when attached to the tent.
