If what you are looking for is a sleeping bag for 2 that doesn't leave draughts, but lets you stick your feet out in the heat, this is the one. It is a quality built bag with 2 zips, both bi-directional so feet can air if you like or you can snuggle up with a head pull section if desired. The bag has all the extras expected of a good quality single but big enough for 2. The zips are covered to prevent heat loss and it can be used inside out if you want. Definately recommended.

after first use wondered where this sleeping bag had been all my life - sure it is heavier (bigger and bulkier) than the average bag but once you strap it to the front of your backpack its not so bad.

i camp in the west of Scotland from early April to late September and so far this sleeping bag has been great for outside or under tarp slung up between a couple of trees. I've used it in very hot, indifferent, monsoon, thunder storm and so cold i could see my breathe weather and its given me a nice toasty sleep on some pretty bumpy ground ever time. plenty of room for two and alot longer than British bags for anyone who's tall. the zips at the bottom are excellent for those of us who like one foot under and the other out.

i have to stress this might be too heavy for some to take on the west highland way or if you have to walk for more than 5-6 hours between camps if your not a good walker. guy's shouldn't have any trouble and those who camp with a car should buy the bag straight away. as a girl i did find it heavier than I'm used to but once i found the right place to put it on my pack it wasn't so terrible.

I'm one of those camper that if its raining or the gas runs out or you forget your matches it can all be made better by a warm nights sleep which this bag gives. I'll happily suffer with the extra weight for the room to maneuver while sharing (get your mind out of the gutter) and tell my friends i told you so when they complain about their freezing uncomfortable nights in supermarket bought bags.

Got this for me and my partner as we regularly go camping or to festivals. When it arrived I was a little shocked by how large the bag was in it's packaging. I also have to say it is quite a bit heavier than two normal 2-3 season mummy type bags.

In use though more than makes up for it. The bag is really big so two of you fit in comfortably. I am 6ft tall and don't touch the bottom, even with the front folded to use part of the bag as a hood (as pictured on Amazon). It is great to snuggle up to each other and be really warm when the night is cold. The full complement of zips mean it is easy to cool down though and the space means you can get away from each other as the sun hits the tent.

In summary, this is a massive and luxurious bag. It is also the best bag I have had for dealing with both hot and cold. It was a nightmare to carry from the car at Glastonbury, but I would do so again in an instant. Really good product.

I have just returned from a week's camping -- our first time away in a tent. My husband was very reluctant to go and I bought this thinking that if he got a decent sleep, it might just help him decide that camping's not that bad afterall. I had never heard of double sleeping bags and had no idea if it would work for us (my husband is much larger than me). Really, his opinion counts here on this product, as he is camping's biggest critic. And I am happy to declare that he, like me, loved this sleeping bag. We were never cold in it (we just wore normal nightware and it got really cold at night outside) -- it was warm and comfortable and roomy enough for us both. Not big enough though to accommodate the dog too, which I was pleased about, but she wasn't. It really doesn't feel like being in a sleeping bag as the material is very soft, and there are zips down each side, so both people can choose how much air they want in or whether they want the zip up to their chin or their feet sticking out.

If you are thinking of getting a double sleeping bag, you will be delighted with this one. Really, truly.

Purchased 2 of these bags, one for my husband and son (7) to share and one for me and my 2 daughters aged 10 and 2 to all sleep in when camping and we were so cosy! The lining is very soft and snug and we were warm in howling wind and rain (in June in England!). They are a very generous size and wonderfully long - I could stretch my legs out and I'm over 6ft.
Do not be misled by a previous reviewer as they DO zip apart completely (could be used as duvets instead). Plus, each half fits in my washing machine and IS washable at 30 degrees (large label inside at the bottom!). It does say handwash but I use the handwash programme on my machine along with a fast spin and it works just fine.
One other really good thing is (unlike many other bags) it has a well designed carry bag and is very easy to pack away.
I am actually looking forward to our next camping trip as for once I know I'll actually be warm and comfy at night.

I read all the reviews and thought this must be the bag for us! I also liked the fact that it was made from soft material and not that typical shiny rustley material of sleeping bags. I measured the size it packed down to to see roughly what we had to fit in the car, as we were trying to cut down on the endless bundles of bedding we took that take up so much room, and it was quite big but better than a double duvet and 2 sleeping bags that we normaly took and much more compact. It was so warm and soft and bags of room for 2, absolute bliss and got a good nights sleep for once while camping! Highly reccomend this bag. Not sure how the other person took it hiking, it is pretty big to fit on your back!
