This is one of the best thrillers of all time; if you are looking for a real classic look no further. this is lindseys first novel and still his best.

The best medical thriller book I have ever read

This book opened my eyes to virology. I have never read a book that totally sucked me in. I actually read it in a few hours, I couldn't put it down for anything. I recommend it to everyone and have had to buy about 5 copies because people I lend it to won't give it back!

I still remember the thrill I got reading this particular book about twenty years ago. This is the David Lindsey book I will always think of first.

Mind-boggling!

I read this first many years ago, and need to order more copies. I have loaned out (e.g., given away) every copy I had. It is on my "keepers" list of books to go back every year or two to re-read. The first time I read it, it left me speechless!
