Featuring contemporary great songs such as Just Looking and Mulder and Scully, this double CD also offers a mix of eighties classics such as Tainted Love and True. It is an excellent by-product of a great TV series; reflecting the diversity of the programmes content and its range of appeal across an audience arguably of different ages / music tastes. I wondered whether such an eclectic mixure of music on one complilation would work and I think it does, although you must be prepared to skip about a bit. As a twenty-something student I thought this was a value for money way of accessing a variety of new music and would at least recommend you glance at the track list.
The hit television series is given it's justice by this equally brilliant CD including many favourites from the series. Fatboy Slim is featured on the playlist, as is the Manics 'You stole the sun from my heart'. There are some classic disco tunes from the weather girls, with 'It's raining men' and Sister Sledge 'Lost in Music'. Some older songs from Jim Reeves and Dolly Parton are also featured. This double CD is packed with a varied amount of songs to catrer for all tastes, whether you are a fan of the show or not. An excellent album all round!
Heard this album at a friends house one weekend, and thought "I've got to buy this". It's a really great cross section of music that will appeal to the 30-something age range that were also attracted to the TV series
