Excellant book and keeps one informed of the coins available to collect and be able to value them. It has very useful information at the beginning of each section and is very well laid out. I have found this book invaluable in my British Coin Collectiing.

This book is the best or one of the best books covering British coins.
The values are fairly accurate, I bought a 2006 edition and have upgraded to this. Pictures are now in colour which makes it easier to read and navigate.

Without any question it is simply the best exhaustive reference and price guide for serious coin collectors and dealers.
Maybe a little overpriced for collectors who are only interested in stuff from around 1800 - perhaps Spink would consider publishing a slimmer volume, in paperback, at half the price.
