Great book! 12 Jun. 2011
By Patricia - Published on Amazon.com

I had to use this book for my Cognitive Psychology class. It was actually easy to read since the writer explains concepts easily with pictures and examples and it's all stuff that's applicable in everyday life that we aren't even aware of doing.

I love this book 14 Feb. 2012
By Dahlia Dynamo - Published on Amazon.com

I really like this text book. The chapters are usually between 20 and 30 pages each which isn't bad at all. They're also full of good information. I purchased my book with the coglab manual and access code for class. The labs supplement the text well. Reading and working on the labs is a lot of fun.

Cognitive Psychology 4 Aug. 2011
By Sherri Ann Smith - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
I just recieved my Cognitive Psychology book and so far, it's great! If you buy a NEW book like I did, you will get the CogLab 2.0 online access code which most classes use. I would highly recommend this book because of the condition it is in and it is $70 cheaper than what my bookstore wanted! Win-win situation!

Very Good Coverage of Cognitive Psychology 25 Oct. 2013
By Juliana M. Spitzig - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
Goldstein's textbook provides a well-balanced coverage of cognitive psychology, combining concepts, synopses of studies conducted to establish fundamental principles, and selected topics in neuroscience. The book is written in a very readable style. Given the current stage of development of the discipline, though, the author could have elaborated further on neuroscience topics. The book does not address statistical aspects of the discipline, which some readers might appreciate.

Simple yet effective 19 Sept. 2011
By SuperShopper - Published on Amazon.com

This arrived really quickly, in almost perfect condition. The textbook itself is really easy to understand, and is great for my class. It explains in detail all the things my professor doesn't have the time to do. It also uses examples that are easy to relate to, which really helps drive in the points they are trying to make. I also like that it has "test yourself" questions at the end of each section; it really helps me keep in track and make sure I'm actually comprehending what I have read and not just reading it for the sake of reading it. As far as textbooks go, this one does the job.
