Given that the previous Amazon customer assumed this would be a nostalgic photo-essay book for casual fans mourning the loss of 'Gilmore Girls' on TV, I thought I would submit the following publisher's promotional blurb, which better details the book and its basis in critical commentary about the characters and the class consciousness that permeates the series.

A little bit disappointed with this book, I thought it was more a souvenir book, with pictures. But it is just a fiction book. I bought it for a friend, so this is why disappointed. Glad I did not pay the full price of the book.
