This is the 3rd book I read from Colin Wright and It did NOT disappoint. He has a unique view of relationships and the trials and tribulations that come along with them. I found this book to be refreshing, interesting and every once in a while, heartwarming.

4.0 out of 5 stars Colin Wright's best work yet. 20 Nov 2013

I have read all of Colin Wright's works and this one was my favorite by far. Each of the short stories in this book are well written and entertaining. I read this book in one sitting because I could not make myself put it down. Colin Wright's fiction writing improves with each new book he releases and in "Coffee With The Other Man" he is at the top of his game. I can not wait to see what this young author produces in the future.
5.0 out of 5 stars brief but eventful 17 Jun 2014

An interesting take on human relationships and our flawed appreciation of the desires of others. Short but fascinating. Author Colin Wright pulls you in, and lets you go wishing it weren't so soon. Highly recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars a modern relationship description 14 Jun 2014
By Joseph S - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
in his book Colin shares with us the various aspects of modern relationships - some are superficial, some are based on preconceived notions, some break the mold of 'normality'. No two relationships are identical, and sometimes you find hope where you least expect it. Gender stereotypes are also reversed, as well as life stories. The impression that I got from this book is that relationships are not something solid, set in stone, but rather fluid and forever changing, a kaleidoscope of images, feelings and desires, just like the people who forge them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully written, excellent read! 23 May 2014

As usual, Colin Wright has given us beautifully written work. This collection of O. Henry -style stories was excellent, enjoyable and well-crafted. My favorite story was 'Hearts Growing Fonder', as I can easily see the truth in this tale, although each of the stories were intriguing in different ways. Highly recommended reading, easy to read and thought-provoking.
