To disagree with the above review, ToCA 2 Touring Cars is in-fact a BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) game, and not a worldwide game, I believe. Correct me if Im wrong, but the above is infact about "ToCA World Touring Cars.
ToCA 2 Touring Cars features all drivers for the BTCC 1999, I think, but im not sure of the exact year. Featuring cars such as Audi, Vauxhall, Renault, and many more, and including several unlockable special cars, this is a quality game. True, the graphics are nothing special now, as it is an older PS1/PC game, and the level of car contact can get out of hand, but it i a true racing game, and in my opinion, the older ones are the better ones, done properly, and race properly.

maybe realistic... maybe not much fun,

Race American, European and Australian touring cars round realistic circuits across 3 continents. If you finish high enough in each race you get points to be promted to the next class of racing. Thats it. I'm sure its dead accurate and realistic, but there is virtually no commentary, not that much exciting scenery, all are fairly shortish laps which need to be repeated. If you want the tedium of racing across a season, go for it. If you want more fun and excitement, go for something else.
