people who are fans of indy car racing will probably relish this game, its got it all, speed, overtaking, oh.. and unexpected crashes at 200 miles per hour !
the difficulty level is quite impressive, even in easy mode you still get to qualify an impressive 14th on the grid, then you get to look forward to racing through the pack with the hope in the back of your brain that you aint gonna end up at the back of the pack by lap 4 !
graphically its not great, livery's on your car are just an untidy blur of colour, and theres only two views to look forward to, in car behind the wheel and chase view, and to tell you the truth the in car shot is quite bad, the hands clutching the steering wheel look like a pair of crows feet, with long toe nails !!
theres no eye candy to look forward to, im no expert, far from it, but everything seems dull, and all of the tracks are ovals.
so if you dont like racing on ovals, and you dont like indy car racing in general dont buy this game, the one thing i can say about indy car series is that theres a good difficulty level, you have to work for the win, and seeing as i haven't won anything yet it must be quite good, theres no way im gonna make the pro level at this rate !

If you are not a fan of the real IRL/Indycar series, this game isnt for you. You have to understand how the racing works, with slipstreaming etc, and if you do, then the game is great fun. THe superspeedways are the most enjoyable to race on (as they are to watch in real life) , and you can work together with another driver to get to the front etc.
The game is hard, and you have to be patient to get good at it. The Indy 500 is real fun, and a record of your stats (races, wins etc) is a nice touch.
If you like the real thing, you should enjoy this game.

This game is suprisingly good. The racing is fast, tight and scary at times if you've been racing a long time and you don't want to go out. One wrong move is all it takes and you'll be slamming into the barrier sometimes collecting other cars on the way. The crashes are great fun and the stunning replays mean you can see it from any car at any speed and from multiple camera angles.
It is also difficult to win a race never mind a whole championship. It will keep you going for a long time. I still have not won the championship yet.

Indy car flop out
This game is the worst racing game i've come across. the old f1 games wern't very good but this makes them seem out of this world. buy it at your perill. i've said enough.
