Directions:
Test Procedure....Full instructions are included with the meter which you should read through before using the meter....Insert a test strip face-up into the slot on the meter. The meter will turn on automatically.....Use the lancet and lancing device to obtain a blood drop. You only need 0.9uL of blood (please see the picture above)....Touch and hold the drop of blood to the edge of the strip until the yellow window is completely filled with blood. The blood will automatically be drawn into the strip.

- Quick and Easy to use - many meters will require you to enter a unique code every time you test but with the SD CodeFree Meter you just need to insert the Codefree strip into the slot, apply the blood to the test strip and the meter will automatically give you a reading in just 5 seconds!!
- Alternative Site Testing - the kit comes with an adaptable lancing device enabling you to obtain a blood sample from somewhere other than your fingertip eg. palm, forearm etc. This can help to give you a more accurate result if you have not eaten or taken any insulin for a few hours.
- You can use your SD CodeFree Meter with SD Diabetes Management Software to store your records on your computer and help you to spot patterns for planning meals, exercise and medication. The Software is free for all customers and should be used under the supervision of a medical professional who will be able to use the program to help you better manage your diabetes.

The kit arrived promptly and seems to work perfectly. I purchased it with extra test strips as it was very competitively priced, representing good value for money. It comes with everything you need to start testing. It also has a very comprehensive manual so if you've not tested before you need have no worries with this kit. The whole purchase was considered to be very good for what is included. The replacement strips are competitively priced too when you need them.

Amazing monitor for the price. Its quick inexpensive and convenient to use. I like the fact that I ordered it and it arrived within two days. VAT free without the hassle of a long form to complete. Had several meters over the years. Best one todate and most certainley one to try.

I was not sure which one to buy at the start as there are many to pick from, but having bought this one,I now can say I am very pleased with this monitor testing kit as it has lancets and strips to get you going,and the affordable price. It it self is value for money and easy to work and a comprehensive instruction book as well so you don,t have to get into a flap not knowing how to work this monitor.
I also bought the extra lancets and strips as they were worth it.
