as my fellow reviewer I also have other david munyon cds and can't understand why he is not better known. The thing is if your reading this then you'll probably know that already. His songs demand attention by the listener , and then if you get it , you'll be hooked. David Munyon appears to be on the fringe of the fringe of non mainstream music. On this album listen to Maybe Over the Border, Me and this Old Suitcase and Hey Benny - and then listen again - for me these tracks cover the range and styles of Munyon which deserve more recognition. I hope you "get it" and enjoy as much as I have. Acrylic Teepees is in the same vain as this album but has a more studio feel, it is also my favorite. - regards, Richard.

David Munyon seems to be pretty much unknown in the UK, which is a real shame as he has a talent for songwriting that is truly remarkable. I have several of his albums and I think that this is just about the best of the bunch. There are some wonderful songs on here (check out the likes of Earl's Song, Hey Benny and Maybe Over the Border), which are written with real emotion and probably tell us an awful lot about the man himself. This is a really special piece of work and deserves to be recognised as such.
