Great book! Just the sort of thing to start the blood cells flowing and the mind thinking for a youngster. I must confess it works for us older ones too. Liked it a lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fun Adventure! 23 Aug 2014
By Jen_Niffer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Code Name: Dodger is the story of Justin Reed, a street-savvy orphan who is in drawn into a quest to avenge his father's murder while at the same time unravel a mystery his father left behind. Justin is a beguiling mix of smarts, swagger and sensitivity whose ingenuity and persistence get him out of (and sometimes into) a variety of sticky situations.

Readers will cheer as Justin outsmarts criminal masterminds and government officials alike, all while racing towards an intense final confrontation. And in the end Justin realizes that he's actually been on the ultimate quest of all - the search for a new family.

This is a compelling read that will hook you from the first sentence and keep you frantically turning pages until the end. Be prepared to lose some sleep because you won't want to stop reading! And the best news? A sequel is on the way!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! 15 Sep 2013
By Karlene K. Petitt - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is an all time fun ride. I turned my bath cold wanting to see what happened next. A young adult/boy adventure mystery... who would think a professional woman and mother of adult daughters would enjoy it? The writing is excellent. The story fun. This book is absolutely engaging. Parents... buy this for your kids, they'll love it. Most YA books are shifting to the dark and overtly sexual side of life. Not this one. The author did not hide from a young boys fascination with guns... he touched on the subject of gangs and drugs...but in a realistic and honest way keeping the hero clean with integrity. A hero we want our kids to look up to and emulate. Eric... you hit a big win on this and looking forward to the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Tale! 8 Feb 2013
By George E. Nolly - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I can't imagine the adolescent boy who wouldn't be thrilled to read this story. But it's more than a YA tale - I'm 50 years older than the target market for this book, and I found that once I started reading I couldn't put the book down!

The story line is extremely well crafted, and the first person narrative puts the reader into the protagonist's shoes. If you have a teenager who doesn't like to read, hand him this book and ask him to read the first chapter. He'll be hooked on this book, and hooked on reading, from that point on!

This book will make a great gift! I definitely recommend it!
