After more than thirty episodes of strong character development, more plot twists than an M Night Shyalaman film and explosive action sequences, the final chapter of Code Geass was going to be a tough feat to accomplish but I'm pleased to say, I wasn't disappointed.

The final story arc follows Lelouch, who after losing a close friend due to a Geass cult, wages war to end the existence of Geass forever. This then sets in motion a series of events that leaves Lelouch pitted against his own Black Knights, rising to new heights of power and gaining new and surprising allies along the way, before a stunning final episode ends the series in a way that, considering everything that's happened over the course of the series, was unavoidable and yet is still surprising.

This was an excellent end to the series and continues the show's tradition of strong character and plot development, witty dialogue and animation that has made it a fan favourite since its beginning. It is definitely worth buying for anyone has already purchased the previous three boxsets (and trust me, you REALLY need to watch those episodes before buying this or you'll have NO clue of what's going on), and I'm glad the series ends itself on a high note.

Now I'll have to find something else to watch and considering the regard in which I hold this show, that won't be an easy task.

This is the last installment of Code Geass, well Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion that is as there has been an announcement for a new Code Geass with a new cast. Anyways I have watched a lot of anime like Death Note, Naruto, Soul Eater and many other popular titles but this is by far my favourite.

Code Geass has aspects of Death Note with its very interesting story and it has just as good fight scenes as there is in Naruto. However I am not reviewing the series but this DVD set. This DVD set is licensed by "Beez" and I really do not like how they have done the casing for there dvds the artwork looks nice on them however you get a piece of paper with it which contains information like the summary and how long it lasts basically the things that were meant to be on the back. The reason why they have not put it on the back so they could put more art like that but the piece of paper becomes annoying yet you do not want to throw it away as it contains information for the dvd. Also the casing inside is plastic and it is really hard to get the discs out without it feeling like you are going to break the discs, I have broken a bit of the casing but it was only minor.

The anime itself is outstanding this is the final volume and it was such a dramatic and sad ending there is not a character I did not like, the Japanese cast was amazing however I was not fond of the english dubb.

This is a must buy anime series it is underated however it may not be some peoples cup of tea but i highly recommend giving it a go!

If you've bought any of the three box sets preceeding this one, you'd be crazy not to buy this last one. The final 13 episodes make the whole series worth watching again and again. Watch all of the characters that had been built up through the series rise or fall to their fated ends, and follow Lelouch and Suzaku to the final chapter. All Hail Brittania!!!
