It's one of the most enjoyable books I have read recently. At the beginning the style seemed to be slightly abrupt, like reading a play but then it grew more and more fluid. I have enjoyed the plot, the emotions and feeling that the books stirs up, makes you think more about true feelings, human weaknesses, family commitments.. but in a uplifting way somehow. You sympathise with the characters as they seem so real...The novel is quite emotionally conviencing, the books invigourates you. I have not paid much attention to the historical truthfullness of the book (vs some earlier comments from the readers) but it does make you feel good in a way and thoughtfull about life in general.
