CONNIE FRANCIS a beautifully voiced singer of ballads and rockers sings and swings greatly on this 18 track[recorded from 1964 to 1969]of lounge classics.
Connie sings these songs just as well as her many mega-hit single recordings.
Included on here are her wonderful renditions of,"IT'S NOT UNUSUAL","CALL ME IRRESPONIBLE","STARDUST","DO YOU KNOW THE WAY TO SAN JOSE?","WALK ON BY",
amongst many other fabulous songs-each given the unique Connie treatment.
Comes with very interesting liner notes.
A great CD for fans of Connie Francis to add to ones collection.

Well known for her hit records that tore up the charts in the late 50s and early 60s, Connie Francis has stated in many interviews that she prefers to be remembered by her public for the type of material that is included on this wonderful cd.
She quickly became aware that if she wanted longevity in the music business then she would have to move away from her hit records and enter the more sophicticated world of the supper clubs in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City. Throughout the 60s she was the top paid female entertainer in this genre and these songs show just why she gained that accolade. The songs on this cd reflect just how mature Connie became as a singer.
I would recommend this cd to anyone who has a love of good quality material. Connie proves here that she is among the best, alongside Frank Sinatra, Doris Day and Ella Fitzgerald.
