This two way radio, has very good reception and is easy to use.It is lightweight and can be fitted into the pocket. Having had it switched on and in use, for some 8 hours at a recent Motorsport event, the batteries never went flat and the reception was maintained throughout the day, with clear and precise accuracy. The only drawback that I found with this unit, was, while it received transmissions from other radioes with sub-channels, it could not communicate with them, as it has no sub-Channel capability, built into the unit. At maximum range, in open terrain, this unit is Ideal, but in built up areas, or in hilly terrain, the reception can become distorted, and break up.

Both the range and clarity of this piece of equipment is quite impressive, considering its price (and the fact that you get 2. A hands free kit would be cool, though not a must. The colours aren't exactly flashy and bright, which could be good or bad depending on the situation, though if you just want to be able to have a wireless conversation that is not as expensive as a mobile phone call than defintately get these.

I have found these pmr radios very useful at home, work and college. They are lightweight and easy to use. Anyone can pick them up and use them. Another winner by Cobra and lets hope they keep coming. Anyone looking to buy PMRS I would desfinatley choose these.
