Cobra Killer’s self-titled debut album is an absolutely bizarre creation, consisting of distorted cut-up samples of kitschy ‘60’s music overlaid with the vocals of Gina D’Oria (ex-EC8OR) and Annika Trost (ex-Shizuo). It’s hypnotic, beguiling stuff, with the fractured beats and shards of melody making this a very original experimental electronic album. One of the most distinctive albums ever released on the Digital Hardcore label, and a must for those who delight in the weird and wonderful.
