This book has already become a loyal companion. It is a very pragmatic and yet sophisticated book dealing with the challenges of coaching in the real world. The chapters in the book address different relevant questions coaches are confronted with in their profession. Chapter one addresses the essential skills for a successful coach. Chapter two describes typical challenges for coaches and suggests appropriate actions, tools and approaches. Chapter three discusses difficult challenges for coaches and how to deal with them. Finally chapter four describes over fifty different coaching tools and useful models in a very distilled yet concise way. This is a book for the practitioner, the Business coach as well as the manager who wants to expand his toolbox. The only downer about this book is that it is not yet available as a hard cover edition. Due to my excessive travelling my loyal companion already now looks quite worn and torn.
