1.0 out of 5 stars Great movie. Bad Soundtrack. 7 Sep 2006
By Stuart Troy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This is the entire list of songs from the "Coach Carter" movie. There may be some oversights. But it's far more accurate than the track listing on the sound track.

Great movie. Bad Soundtrack. Music is an integral part of many movies. I find it so disappointing when the tracks you heard in the movie are not included on the soundtrack.

I sympathise with legalities of trying to pull all the labels and artists together. But as the consumer, it just plain sucks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but not stellar... 18 Jan 2005
By rachelli - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This is a good compilation of hip hop music, and it compliments the movie well, but there are a lot of songs in the film missing on the soundtrack that would have made this a 5-star effort. And also, the "Elation, creation, incarceration, determination..." song is called "Let the Drummer Kick" and it's by Citizen Cope. It definitely should be on the soundtrack it's a great song.

5.0 out of 5 stars The song where Coach Carter is in the gym alone 13 Aug 2005
By David Chao - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Let the Drummer Kick by Citizen Cope

The song plays when coach Carter is in the gym by himself looking at his name on the banner at Richmond High. I love this song, and I searched all the songs on the Coach Carter soundtrack, but couldn't find it. I don't like how it doesn't have it on there, because almost everyone I've talked to seems to be missing it. I searched a forum and found the title of the song. I hope this helps some people finding the song.
