I bought this CD rom for my son as a package in year 4. At that point, he struggled with some of the concepts, although it gave him the incentive to try and work his way through. The games are repetitive in nature which allows the child the opportunity to practice the skill needed. It uses mathematical, English, reasoning, and general knowledge skills to navigate around the game.
My son has now finished year 6, and he still gains huge enjoyment and interest in playing this game due to the graphics and story. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Didn't really like the format or content of games tried. The label of 'year 6' is deceptive, indicating that there may be clear links to the Y6 curriculum, which there are not. However, this is from an adult's perspective rather than a child'd but the children weren't interested in playing when left on during wet play time.

I bought this for my son at the start of year 5. When you solve puzzles, you collect bridge pieces so that you can get to the next level and a chart shows you how well you are achieving in each subject area (English, Maths, Religion, History, Geography, Science). He said it is quite difficult, but he found it fun at the same time.
