I've heard all the Clublands, from the pathetic recent ones (post volume 6) to the early ones I own, and this comes top.
Unlike newer Clublands, and indeed more commercial sounding albums, this actually has "character" - something lost now. The songs don't all sound like euro trash, or something from a kids disco. The blue slip case reflects what great night music this is, though for me it was a great summer album.
Ahh, the days of Paul van Dyk, Solex, Northstarz, Matt Darey, Paul Oakenfold and loads more great club artists that gave music with feeling, and thats what this album is all about. It doesnt feel like t all just been chucked together. The album feels like times been spent on it, and instead of cheesy radio edits, the album has the best remixes for loads of songs, from what was the awful original Mixed up world, to what is here absolute gem with incredible feeling. There are too many good songs to list, so i'll finish with the best!
Sweetheart, Harden Up, Fast Driving, Connected, Mixed Up World, Elements, Show me a sign, I can't Let You Go, Feels so real, and the incredible Voice of an angel. Get this album!
