Fans of S Club are unlikely to think twice about Dance the S Club Way, which makes it a sure seller; but it's what makes this dance video work that's a sure surprise. Choose four of the band's popular hits, take their choreographer Priscilla Samuels and two assistants, add S Club Juniors (eight fresh-faced 12-14 year-olds) and get the band itself to present the choreography lessons.
Dressed in black super-baggy nylon tracksuits, Priscilla and her team might look more like flash industrial cleaners than hip dancers--until they start strutting the moves that is. The slow basic instruction and repetition of the dance, together with a presenter going all out to connect with the viewer, might appear to be totally missing from this. In fact what's absent is exactly what cynics would expect: dumbing down the dance. The routines are no watered-down version of the real thing and the instruction does not pander to the non-dance-literate viewer, kid, teenager or adult alike. Yes, it's difficult. But aside from ensuring it'll take a while to get bored with this one, even if getting a whole sequence is hard, slowly the moves do rub off. And with Priscilla's emphasis on free style, the S Clubber in all of us comes out. --Lorna V

I have to say I was really sceptical about buying this DVD but being a fan of both S Club and S Club 8 I thought it was a must have!
The S Club Juniors run through four songs and through several variations of each. They run through the moves quite fast but if you watch it a few times you start to pick it up.
Great fun!!!

When i saw this i thought, wow, this'll be great, it's sclub themselves teaching you to dance, but when watching it the sclub juniors take over it and makes it a tedious and annoying video to watch, altogether, it is very disappointing.

If you are an Sclub fan and have all the albms, then all you need now is "Dance the sclub way" it is FANTASTIC!!!! It has a HUGE variety of dances including "Alive" and the BRIT AWARD winning single "Don't Stop Moving!" Also the Sclub juniors are featured and remember - "There ain't no party like an S club Party!"
