Product Description

Sludge Answer is designed to remove the accumulated sludge within a pond or filter system. Accumulated sludge within the pond or filter system is not only an unhealthy sight, its harmful deposits will also become a detrimental breeding ground for nasty pathogenic bacteria. Using Sludge Answer frequently throughout the year on either a well established pond or a new immature pond will greatly assist in obtaining filter maturity. How to use Sludge Answer should be added at the rate of 200ml per 1000 litres (220 gallons) of pond water, with follow up doses (every 28 days or as required) at the rate of 100ml per 1000 litres (220 gallons). Sludge Answer should be mixed with 3 litres of pond water, using a watering can apply the mixture over the pond surface and to the filter system. Important : UV Clarifiers should be turned off for the first 24 hours of application.

I originally started buying blanket weed killer from this seller and was so pleased with that product, I decided to try this one as well, and I have been very pleased indeed .
I have no,idea "where" the sludge disappears To, but it does, and quite quickly.
I am very pleased to recommend this product to anyone else with this problem in their pond,
Oh! I would add that I have several fish in my pond and neither product has affected them one bit. ;0)

I have a 7ft deep pond and after the annual changing of the media & Uv bulbs I was still having issues seeing all the way to the bottom due to sludge and other particles floating around. I got hold of 4 bottles of this after some recc's from friends... and added over the course of a few days(Im very careful with all treatments as i have many Jap koi).

I wasnt expecting miracles as it states on bottle that its a bacteria and they can take time to mature etc.. after a week the water clarity had improved to where i could see nearly all the way to bottom, than another 7 days later It was crystal clear all the way to the bottom and has stayed that way for 3 weeks and counting.

Worth mentioning I have 2 big air stones which will have no doubt helped speed the process up!

Has worked well for me and will certainly use again when required.

I bought Blanketweed Answer treatment from Cloverleaf and it was excellent. After two applications all of the blanketweed had gone. Cloverleaf recommend their Sludge Answer for use after the blanketweed treatment and I have used it as directed and it made not an iota of difference. There is still the same amount of sludge in the bottom after two applications over some weeks.

Cloverleaf sludge Answer Totally useless, no noticeable effect whatsoever. I have a problem with my pond still. What more can I say? Waste of money

I used this Cloverleaf Sludge Answer after using Cloverleaf Blanket Answer to clear out my blanket weed - although the Blanket Answer worked a treat the follow up of Sludge Answer did nothing - can't see that its worth the money to treat the pond for sludge as it is still there. better putting the cost toward's a pond vacuum & remove it manually.

I have used Cloverleaf's Blanket Answer to clear blanket weed which is excellent but not convinced about Sludge Answer. Difficult to say if it did indeed have any effect upon the quality of my pond

I used Cloverleaf Blanket prior to Sludge Answer and have found both to be fantastic, over the years I have tried every make on the market to rid my pond of blanket weed, only Cloverleaf has worked!!!!!!! It is that good, I ordered a large tub of Blanket to keep it under control in the future.
Well done Amazon and of course Cloverleaf !!!!!!!
