Product Description

A tantalising infusion of jasmine flowers and sweet garden herbs with lemon and mandarin citrus steeped in ginger spice. The palate is creamy and full yet finishes with an intuitively balanced lemon citrus twist. Subtle smoky oak, and fermentation with indigenous yeast, bring an appealing savourine ss to this wine.

The sauvignon blanc grapes for this wine were sourced from four Cloudy Bay estate vineyards and two grower vineyards, spread across the Brancott Valley, Rapaura and Renwick sub-regions.

The soils are predominantly free draining gravels equiring irrigation. A combination of Vertical Shoot Positioned (VSP) and Scott-Henry canopy training systemswere employedwith vines planted at a density of 1,850 vines per hectare. In 2006 the vineyards yielded an average of 8.4

I received this item just before christmas and it was a gift for someone. I opted for the gift wrap option as it was a christmas present and thought it would be very convenient to have it wrapped for me. However when it arrived i opened the box and was disgusted at what i was faced with. The bottle had been poorly wrapped in a white soft plastic material which when i picked it up the bottle slid straight out from!! Now in my eyes gift wrap is a nice neat wrap around the item with quality paper or material that looks presentable to someone as a gift. i find polystyrene unacceptable as the only wrap around the item. (no tag or bow or anything!!!) Obviously i understand the packaging was for protection but why couldn't they have wrapped some paper around the polystyrene? Shocking i say. So i please advise don't buy the gift wrap option, you may as well do it yourself! Also contacted 2 bear steps and no reply or apology what so ever! Terrible company who i won't be dealing with again!!
