This has got to be one of the best tablets i've ever gotten my hands on. Ordered it late sunday night, got it early wednesday morning (Brilliant on your part AndroidSlates) I strongly recommend ordering from them as queries are answered within an hour or if it is past opening hours the next day. All my queries were answered albeit having to repeat myself a few times

Anyway back to the tablet.

All games thrown at it run perfect, already download Temple Run, Moto Drive X (etc) and all handle smoothly.
The youtube player IS slow and originally was not impressed, however i turned off the HD on the video which made it run faster didn't buffer. Also the android market (Now known as Google Play) Is the official licensed one and i strongly recommend downloading dolphin browser ( Dolphin Browser HD And not the Tab version because that closes upon opening that may just be my tablet though.. ) The stock browser is good but nothing to write home about, The apps already installed are basic ones such as Skype and the 720p Youtube Player.

The only negatives i have to say is that the tablet's battery life is terrible, i can only get around 3 hours use which is quite a problem, As soon as i find a solution there will be an extension & also the screen when it came didn't respond well to touch and sometimes became unresponsive because it was so dry, i resolved the issue by wiping it with screen cleaner more than once and now it performs like a dream

However the batter life the tablet still gets a 5* from me because not once has it crashed and due to the new browser and many other things downloaded it is faster the my cousins samsung galaxy tab 2 which hasn't unfortunately lasted as long as my tablet.

Just bought three of these units for my grandchildren as Christmas presents. At the moment, I am running all three to see if there are any problems prior to handing them over to them. First impressions are good, the tablet(s)appear to be quite well made if a little on the plasticky side but and a big but, is that this is in comparison to to an Ipad that we own, at six times the price. It simply never will be in the same league as an Ipad, however, if I had bought one of these little beauties before the Ipad, I would have great difficulty justifying Apples pricing strategy.
Battery life seems to be about five hours with WiFi on and streaming Youtube videos. Screen quality is good and clear with no buffering. I've installed Temple Run, Angry Birds, Kindle and TuneIn Radio apps from Play Store and they all run fine. There are a variety of apps already pre-installed, which is handy. For around the £60 mark this device cannot be beat. I will update this review at a later date but so far, so good.

I have now had these tablets on test for a week and have had no problems with them, I have streamed 3 YouTube movies back to back (5 hours) before depleting the battery, I have changed the wallpapers (built in) to individualise each one so the kids wont get mixed up. I am very pleased so I have now awarded them 5 stars - brilliant!!!

Have been very happy with this budget tablet from day 1 out of the box. Was delivered in excellent time from AndroidSlates, and has taken most of what I have thrown at it. Having paid on £60 for it I did not expect it to compete with higher end gear in terms of speed or 'crunch' power, but have been pleasantly surprised with how good it actually is. The screen is fantastic as a display for streamed film and video and I find it very sharp and crisp at higher resolution. I haven't thrown much lower res stuff at it as thats not something I have a lot of. The touch screen has been fairly responsive (though sometimes has little niggles such as not always picking up a finger swipe), and although I have found some apps that don't work on it, most of the ones I have been interested in have worked. The audio out is pretty poor through the speakers (think mobile phone speakers), but using the 3.5mm out and a pair of decent headphones and it is great. I have also connected it up through my hifi using the 3.5 out, and again is all good. So good I am going to use it as my GUI and output for a squeezebox style system.

Battery time is not great (around 4 or 5 hours from full charge), but as I am using mine in the house it is not an issue to me. It is slow to load from a standing start- but when left on standby (which can be done as charging too) it is as quick as a finger swipe to get going.

I did have an issue with it dropping my wifi signal (which weirdly started on the 7th day of having it- had been fine up until then). This was resolved by changing the output channel on my BT Homehub. This advice was quickly given to me by AndroidSlates via email when I enquired what could be wrong.

Vendor feedback first: These arrived, well packaged, via RM recorded delivery within about 3 days. Top marks.

As for the tablet, I'm really, REALLY impressed. Build quality seems excellent, and while the 1.5GHz processor isn't lightning fast, it's definitely not laggy or slow, and they're pre-rooted, running pure, unadulterated, vanilla ICS. Perfect for what I wanted them for, kids games, music and films. So impressed I'm seriously considering one for myself!

Having seen them I'd happily have paid twice the price, they really are excellent value!
