We have the Cloud B Sleep Sheep for our two-year old son and the smaller Cloud B Sleep Sheep On The Go
for our new baby. Both products are quite nice, but each has its own minor flaws.
Our son was instantly delighted with the sheep and loved operating it. After a few weeks his interest in operating the sounds has worn off, but he still loves "Sheep". I'm sure our son would therefore give five stars, but I can't stretch to that.
The faces of both Cloud B Sleep Sheep and Cloud B Sleep Sheep On The Go are rather sweet, if a little wonky, and there are a few patches where the "wool" is thin, especially at the seams. The "wool" on our Cloud B Sleep Sheep feels slightly course and synthetic; it is softer, nicer and finer on our Cloud B Sleep Sheep On The Go.
The plastic sound box pushes into the sheep's back and is secured with a Velcro strap. There are buttons to select rain, waves, whale song, or a heartbeat. There's also a volume control and a timer switch allowing 23 minutes, 45 minutes or no timer. The switches are easy to use, even when the sound box is inserted into the sheep's back.
The sound is okay, but a little tinny, reminding me of a 1970's transistor radio. The volume adjustment on our sheep isn't smooth, but jumps when the volume knob is turned beyond midway. Perhaps this is a fault with our unit, it's a little annoying, but not enough for me to bother seeking a replacement.
I would have preferred the timer to reduce the sound gradually. Instead it cuts the sound abruptly, which is a little startling.
Overall, sweet, son loves it; dad thinks quality could be better.
