Cloud Nine's unique swivel cord lets you enjoy incredible freedom of movement when hair styling, allowing you to create something wonderful without worry or hassle, the cord will simple swivel around on the base to support your every move. The protective heat sleeve that comes with this straightener can be applied to the straighteners even when hot to keep them from opening. This protective heat guard clasps neatly over your irons plates, allowing you to leave them to cool down safely. The hibernation mode delivers intelligent sleep technology that automatically kicks in when the irons have been switched on, but not used for 30 minutes. When the irons go into hibernation mode they will cool down fully. Each Cloud Nine iron is fitted with its own RFID (radio-frequency identification) chip containing its own unique ID number. This means we can track your iron and monitor it throughout its working life to ensure it's a genuine product only sold through authorised Cloud Nine stockists. The Cloud Nine iron is supplied with a standard two-pin Euro plug, but has also been fitted with a UK three-pin adapter. Switching between the two plugs is easy, simply remove the screw positioned between the three pins and remove the casing. You're now ready to travel in style with your Cloud Nine iron. Temperature Control Panel
Heat options range from low to medium and high heat settings. The LED panel gives a clear indication of temperature, and adjusting the button you can raise or lower heat. The hair straighteners beep when the temperature is reached.
Black Ceramic Plates
Each pair of Cloud Nine Straighteners has a special ingredient inside the plates. This works by leaving your hair feeling soft and shiny each time you use.
Swivel Cord
The cord takes the hassle out of hair straightening allow the straighteners to be used easily and freely.
Heat Guard
A protective heat sleeve is also included, this can be applied to the straighteners even when hot to keep them from opening.
Hibernation Mode
Intelligent sleep mode technology, automatically starts when the hair straighteners have been switched on, but left unused for thirty minutes. Once in this mode they will cool down to a temperature to make them safe to place back into the box.
RFID Chip

Dual Adaptor

After my GHD's finally died on me on Thurday, i dashed out to buy a new pair, however I was not impressed with them GHD Gold wide plates, the girl kindly told me that GHD was sold on and the new owner has changed them, she recommend that i bought cloud 9 as this is the product of the last owner of GHD, came home and ordered them, received the next day, used them as soon as they arrived, and i have to say they are better than GHD's,. They heat up quicker, takes less time to straighten your hair, comes with a handy heat guard and pouch,and they look good into the bargain. I have very long hair which is very thick, cloud 9 has made my hair sleek and shiny. I recommend that if you are a GHD die hard, the cloud 9 is better, you will not be disappointed.

Was really excited to purchase this as a present, but when opened the box one could immediately see that there was a problem with the plates. Went to a Oxford Street Dept Store to check others out and found they were perfectly straight.

Got these for my daughter at Xmas. Any hairdresser she's been at has said its the thickest hair they've worked with, and curly with frizz thrown in makes it hard work for my 14 year old daughter. We used GHD until I got her these ones which are good and couldn't fault them, but cloud nine are way better than GHD for my daughters hair. She loves them and it's taken some of the hard work out of doing her hair and cut the time down by quite a bit...........well worth the money paid
